Hajj and Umrah "launches a
unified electronic system for pilgrims services
Deputy Minister Dr. Abdul Fattah bin Sulaiman Mishat on
Monday, on behalf of the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Mohammed Saleh bin
Taher Benten, launched the workshop of the unified electronic system for Hajj
services under the slogan "Integration and Excellence" in the
presence of the ministry's agents and representatives of the relevant bodies
participating in the workshop. The level of readiness and early preparations
for the pilgrimage season of this year 1439 e according to the vision of the
Kingdom 2030 at the Hilton Hotel in Makkah.
Deputy Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Abdul Fattah bin
Sulaiman Mushat stressed on the contents of this workshop to develop and
improve the electronic services provided to guests of Al-Rahman, which comes as
part of an integrated strategy to develop the Hajj and Umrah system.
He pointed out that the unified electronic system workshop,
which comes today, as the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah prepares to move from Hajj
service to the hospitality industry and seasonal work to the culture of work
throughout the year, to upgrade the services provided to pilgrims and
facilitate and standardize procedures and include them in the service package
and quality and standardization And the integration of information among all
parties involved in the work of Hajj in order to build an effective system of
services and economics of Hajj and Umrah to achieve the vision of the Kingdom
2030.
The objectives of the workshop, which was supported by His
Excellency the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, Dr. Mohammed Saleh bin Taher Benten,
focused on strategies and contracts prior to arrival and pre-arrival and
transport between cities and departures. He pointed out that the work plan in
the workshop is working on current procedures, challenges, Comments,
discussions and review of the agreement on the outputs and then the
presentation of outputs and recommendations from all axes.
He said: "While the Hajj and Umrah industry is
witnessing a remarkable stage of development, organization, planning and
permanent and comprehensive development under the directives of the Government
of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. The Ministry is developing a unified
platform through which all services are provided to pilgrims from all over the
world, It also allows service providers to offer their services to the
organizers of pilgrims 'arrival. He added that through this platform, the
services of pilgrims are also monitored by all parties concerned with pilgrims'
services and follow-up.
The workshop also included a video presentation on the
unified electronic system for Hajj services and a review of the mechanism of
implementing the workshop through its different themes.
It is worth mentioning that the axes of the workshop of the
unified electronic system for pilgrims services include three axes, namely the
visa center, which is handled by the Ministries of Foreign Affairs and
Interior, the National Information Center, the Department of Pilgrims Abroad
and the management of the unified electronic system for Hajj services. The
Department of Customs and the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Branch in Makkah and
the Ministry of the Ministry of Medina, the Ministry's office at King Abdul
Aziz International Airport in Jeddah and Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz
International Airport in Madinah and the Office of the unified agents and
General Union of Vehicles and Bus Guidance Office and the management of the
unified electronic system for pilgrims services and institutions "member
of the reception and departure - IT specialist".
The workshop also includes the axis of urban transport and
the movement of pilgrims in Makkah and Madinah, including the Ministry of
Interior, Traffic Department, Road Safety and Civil Defense Department, the
Secretariat of the Holy Capital, the Municipality of Medina, the Ministry of
Health and the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Branch in Makkah. Union of Pilgrims
